LUXURY PENTHOUSE IN OSTEND
The penthouse is located on the 8th floor of the Des Nations apartment block within walking distance of the beach and the historic Ostend city centre. It offers fantastic views from all angles, with the North Sea and Ostend literally at your feet. The penthouse offers you an unforgettable holiday experience in a spacious and stylish setting.

The penthouse has a floor area of no less than 185m2 and can accommodate a maximum of 12 guests. It is divided into:

* The penthouse has 1 en suite bedroom with sea view, 1 en suite bedroom with balcony, 2 bedrooms that share a bathroom and a 5th large bedroom with a double bed & bunk beds and bathroom in the adjacent hallway. There is a supplementary shower in the scullery.

Your holiday penthouse has been furnished with warmth and elegance in mind. Thanks to the comfort, the luxury and the view, you’ll immediately feel at home. And there’s no need to worry about parking. A parking space has been reserved for you and you’ll have access to a communal charge point for your electric vehicle, if required. On arrival, the kingsize beds (all with boxspring mattresses) will be ready-made, and bath towels, beach towels, shampoo and soap will be put out for you. On Saterday morning a rich breakfast is included and delivered to the apartment. The Des Nations apartment block also has a lift for your use. Once you depart, the penthouse will be cleaned for you. If you book a stay of longer than 2 weeks, the entire penthouse will be cleaned free of charge after 1 week!

It also has an incredible city centre packed with historic sights, exclusive restaurants and a casino. Even the surrounding countryside is worth exploring!
Church of St Peter and St Paul
Your penthouse is located on the edge of the old Ostend city centre. It’s within walking distance of the imposing Church of St Peter and St Paul, the spires of which dominate the city skyline. This church was constructed in 1905 and has beautiful stained-glass windows and two organs. These stained-glass windows portray the history of Ostend and also display the apostles, historic figures & local saints and Biblical scenes. The Church of St Peter and St Paul is open to the public every day.
Mercator, a unique sailing vessel
From the Church of St Peter and St Paul, it’s just a few minutes’ walk to the Mercator, a three-mast sailing ship moored in the Ostend marina. This museum ship, launched in 1932, is located between the station and city hall. The Mercator, with her rich history, is Belgium’s only historic sailing vessel. She’s a listed monument and perhaps the most famous ship in Belgium. This sailing ship attracts interest from around the world.
Fort Napoleon
A visit to Fort Napoleon guarantees an interesting day out. A free ferry will transport you from the western to the eastern bank. This fort demonstrates the historic importance of Ostend as a fortress city. It is located in the dunes within walking distance of the harbour and the ocean. Fort Napoleon is now a museum that focuses on ‘the evolution of European fortress construction’ and ‘the Siege of Ostend’. It has become a popular tourist attraction and also hosts the trendy ‘Theater aan Zee’ event in the summertime.
Exclusive restaurants and casino
Ostend also offers many captivating city walks. The circular walk, which visits Ostend heritage sites from the Belle Époque and Interwar periods, comes highly recommended. Numerous exclusive restaurants are located within walking distance of the penthouse, while Casino Oostende offers an evening filled with entertainment and excitement. And a day trip to Bruges (25km away) is an easy and extremely interesting activity. If you’d like to explore the area by bicycle, you’ll find a bike rental shop on the ground floor of the Des Nations apartment block, where you can hire any number of bicycles. You’ll see that Ostend has a lot to offer you as guest, and that it’s great to come home to your comfortable penthouse after a fun-filled day.
